LIFE BEHIND THE LENS
When you think about life and all that it brings, at what point do we stop and realize that there are more important things. I fell in love with a girl that I met my brothers MySpace. We were in a relationship for a year and a half. And after all that time it was my actions that brought about the downfall of our relationship. I never cheated on her or even thought about it. But my selfish actions and my own personal endeavors brought the relationship to an end. And though it took me time to realize it I lost the most important person in my life. For sometime I not been living but simply existing. But it took the movie Freedom Riders for me to realize that life is more than our broken hearts or our lost loves. Life is about the moments that inspire us to be great. For me it was when I saw my first really creative photography. The colors and the composure captured my heart in a instance, much like Katie Spencer did. And while on a photo shoot this last sunday I realized my moments of inspiration are when my eye is tucked behind the lens and my mind starts to imagine the possibilities of not just the image, but the emotion that image will provoke in the hearts of others. Love is what inspires my photography, the love that we once shared. The love that I hold dear to my heart. For those who said that an image is worth a thousand words, well mine are work a few thousand more.
